Uwe Fischer
CEO
Uwe Fischer joined the Management Board at Hamburg Messe und Congress GmbH as CEO in January 2018. Born in 1968 in Nordhorn, Lower Saxony, Mr. Fischer holds a university degree (MBA) in Business Administration. He has two daughters.
He enjoys spending as much of his spare time as possible with his family and friends and is a sports enthusiast. He is also interested in music, loves nature and tries to be outdoors as much as possible.
From 2013 until 2017 Uwe Fischer was Managing Director at SV Care Catering GmbH as well as Director of Strategic Projects at SV Group, a restaurant and hospitality management group. He had previously served in leadership positions at various other companies, including 14 years in the financial department of Unilever where he was CFO / Finance Director for Unilever Food Solutions with regional responsibility for the Low Countries and France.
Uwe Fischer studied Business Administration at Helmut Schmidt Universität in Hamburg. He started his professional career as an air force officer in the German armed forces (Bundeswehr).
Heiko M. Stutzinger

As of January 2024, Heiko M. Stutzinger is CEO at Hamburg Messe und Congress GmbH. Born in Troisdorf, Northrhine-Westphalia in 1974, he holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration. He has one daughter.
He enjoys spending his free time outdoors, especially in the mountains, and is an enthusiastic snowboarder and hiker. While in northern Germany’s flatlands, he prefers tennis and golf.
Heiko Stutzinger studied Business Administration at EBS University for Business and Law at Oestrich-Winkel as well as in Argentina and at Berkeley/USA. Following positions in business consulting, he joined Messe Düsseldorf in 2008. In 2015 he was appointed Deputy General Manager at Messe Düsseldorf Shanghai, and in 2018 he additionally accepted the responsibilities of Deputy Managing Director of Messe Düsseldorf China, working from Hong Kong. He changed to Royal Jaarbeurs | VNU Group in 2019, where he initially worked at the Bangkok office as Managing Director of VNU Asia Pacific. In December 2021 he was appointed Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Member of the Executive Board of Royal Jaarbeurs BV, The Netherlands.
