Brainfood at INTERNORGA 2025: The International Foodservice Forum confirms its first speakers

With the tag line ‘Where Trends Take Off’, the who’s who of the foodservice and hospitality sector will once again come together at INTERNORGA in Hamburg from 14 to 18 March 2025. The innovative power of the leading international trade fair is reflected in the wide-ranging supporting programme, for which details have now been announced: The first speakers for the International Foodservice Forum have been confirmed and the stages will once again present hot topics of the moment and pioneering trends.

Knowledge transfer meets networking: On 13 March, one day before the start of INTERNORGA, the 43rd International Foodservice Forum will once again be a must-visit for around 2,000 owners, managers, franchisees and F&B managers from sectors ranging from quick service and transport catering to fine dining. At the Congress Center Hamburg, top decision-makers, forward thinkers and experts will be discussing the most groundbreaking trends, innovations and developments in professional catering. In the words of Henry McGovern, from McWin Capital Partners, speaker at the International Foodservice Forum 2024: ‘All the passion of the restaurant industry in one place – there’s nothing like the energy here.’

With exciting presentations, practical insights and valuable networking opportunities, the congress is the ideal platform for anyone who wants to actively and successfully shape the future. Exciting speakers have already been confirmed for 2025: Robert Dahl, for example, will provide inspiring insights into the corporate development and philosophy of Karls Erlebnisdörfer in his talk titled ‘A strawberry takes flight – how to grow without losing your soul’. In her presentation ‘The top 100 players in German catering’, Katrin Wißmann from foodservice will not only provide an overview of the most relevant catering businesses and their development but will also share key learnings for 2025 and beyond. Mark Hallstein from Fraport will provide interesting details on a wide range of catering services. His presentation will include insights into the expansion of Germany’s largest airport. He will explain how, starting in 2026, the new terminal will meet guests’ culinary demands in a variety of ways with around 20 new bars, cafes and restaurants.

‘The energy at the Foodservice Forum is unmatched – this is where the who’s who of the industry discusses the relevant topics of the moment and how we can help the foodservice and hospitality market to progress together,’ says Ilona Renner, Editor-in-Chief of foodservice, describing the unique atmosphere of the congress. The International Foodservice Forum is the largest and most important industry event for professional catering in Europe. It is based on the long-standing successful partnership between INTERNORGA and Deutscher Fachverlag. Further information and tickets – available at the early-bird price until 31 January 2025 – can be found on the website.
